Directions for Use

1. Pour Lustro Italiano™ Rust Remover Powder directly onto the stain or into a disposable cup.

2. Add water and mix until the consistency resembles toothpaste.

3. Apply a thick layer of the poultice over the stained area.

4. Cover the poultice with plastic wrap and seal edges with tape.

5. Punch several small holes in the plastic wrap to allow slow drying.

6. Allow the poultice to sit for 12 to 24 hours or until completely dry.

7. Remove the dried poultice and check results.

8. Clean the area with Lustro Italiano™ Stone Cleaner and reseal with Lustro Italiano™ Stone Sealer if necessary.

Note: Most rust stains are removed with a single application. Deep or older stains may require multiple treatments. On calcium-based stones, minor etching may occur and may require light re-polishing.
